A complete home charging installation is typically €1,200 – €3,000, including VAT. The final price depends on the charger, cable route, fuse box, load balancing and any grid upgrade.

1-phase or 3-phase?

Most homes have a 1-phase connection, charging up to about 7.4 kW — fine for most drivers. 3-phase charges faster but often needs your grid connection and fuse box upgraded. We assess this before quoting.

What is load balancing?

Load balancing automatically lowers charging speed when the household draws a lot of power, so the main fuse never trips. It is strongly recommended and sometimes required, especially on smaller connections.

What does installation involve?

A dedicated circuit from the fuse box, cabling to the parking spot, mounting and connecting the charger, configuring load balancing, and testing. Done to NEN 1010, with a fixed price agreed in advance.
